Tacconelli's Pizzeria: Authentic Italian Pizza in Maple Shade, NJ

This place can do not wrong. Pizza and wine nights are my FAVORITE. This is a no frills, easy, delicious night... date night, family night, after a game, before a movie, private party- anytime. Make a reservation BYO. CASH ONLY.

Hosted a surprise party here and couldn’t be any happier with how it turned out!! The space was perfect and the staff were so helpful and really made the whole experience great. The food was also incredible and had our friends saying it was some of the best pizza they’ve had! Couldn’t recommend a better place to eat/host a party. We will definitely be back!!

I heard it was national pizza day… checked out this pizzeria in the Maple Shade area of New Jersey with the #fam and #girlfriend. Upon walking in, very nice open kitchen, fresh dough being made, smelled so good! We ordered a couple of their pasta dishes, you can tell everything was made in house, huge portions, perfect for sharing, delicious! The pizza, if you’re a fan of thin crust, oh my! The red sauce was so flavorful, perfect crisp on the crust, yum yum and yum! Bring your drinks, it’s a byob, and service was amazing!

This was our first time visiting the Maple Shade location. It was an easy drive from Northeasr Philadelphia…only 23 minutes! We pulled up and got a great street parking spot right in front of the place and went right in. It was a much bigger place inside. Then we thought and it instructed us to go see the hostess in the back of the restaurant. That’s when we realized we probably came in the wrong door and there’s a whole giant parking lot behind the restaurant. L O L! you can really tell her from the city when we were just excited to get a Street spot. Well, we will know where to park next time. We ordered two red plain pies, a cup and char pie, which is pepperoni that cups when it’s cooked, and a hot sausage pie. We also tried an appetizer size of their gnocchi with tomato and basil pasta sauce. The gnocchi was so light and delicate and delicious! I definitely want to get that as an entrée for next time. The pizza was very delicious but I will say it’s not as thin as the Port Richmond location. While we enjoyed it very much it might’ve been a little bit better had it in dinner and maybe cooked a minute or two longer.

We ordered the pizza but they also have pasta. It was delicious. Tacconellis is a must try. They only accept cash so be prepared. A reservation is also a good idea. We will definitely go back.

Absolutely fantastic! The pizza here is some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy crust with amazing flavor. The homemade pasta is just as impressive—fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. You can tell everything is made from quality ingredients. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and authentic Italian taste all around. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves real Italian food

We had their signature pizza, half chicken. This is the best pizza I’ve had in the area. We got caesar salads as an appetizer which were also very good. We typically order our pizza for take-out but we decided to dine-in and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The only downside is that it’s cash only but that doesn’t affect my opinion all that much. The prices are fair. There is a big parking lot in the back and a door to enter. We were able to get a reservation for 2 people last minute. Definitely coming back soon.

The ingredients they use are top notch and fresh. You can taste it in every bite. As a 1st time diner my family and I we were lucky enough to get seated quickly. I'd suggest you call and make a reservation and also bring cash. They do not take and payment. The dinning room is busy but it's understandable. You'll understand once you've started eating your food. Thank you Bernadette for taking great care of us.
